Knife Blades: A Guide for the different types of knife blades
The knife was one of the first tools used by early humans, and the last thousands of years its use and design have evolved considerably. Today there are several different types of knives, made from a variety of materials, and are used as tools, cooking and other purposes. Let's take a look at the main types of knives that are currently available.
Carbon steel
Carbon steel has been used in the manufacture of blades for many years. The carbon steel knives are difficult and take a better advantage with little effort.
